ECNL Playoffs

Each year, top performing teams in the Great River ECNL Regional League Conference earn the opportunity to compete in the Open Cup Division of the ECNL Playoffs at the U15, U16 and U17 ages, where they will match up against other Regional League winners, as well as teams from member clubs of the ECNL.

The Regional Leagues: Florida, Heartland, New England, North Atlantic, North Texas, Northwest, Ohio Valley, Southwest, South Atlantic, Southeast, Texas, USC and Virginia.

The ECNL is the strongest and most competitive league competition for girls in the US with many colleges spending upwards of 80% of their recruiting budget attending ECNL games.

The ECNL directors came together and collaborated to build what would become the top female youth development platform in the world.

The grass roots leadership and cooperation was unprecedented in American youth soccer, and the ECNL continues to be the most progressive and innovative development platform in the country.

The ECNL Girls Regional Leagues will offer a pathway to an ECNL Girls Regional League Post-Season, featuring two stages.

The ECNL Regional League Championship Series will consist of four regional events held across the country to qualify into the ECNL Regional League Finals along with additional automatic qualifiers from ECNL Regional Leagues, which will be held in conjunction with the ECNL Girls Post-Season.

FC Dayton's ECNL RL Teams will have some of their games captured using our VEO Cameras.

These portable cameras can be set up to record without coach intervention, leaving them free to do what they do best.

Players can then view the game or parts of the game on the Veo Platform.

HUDL is the industry leading film-sharing platform for soccer players.

HUDL allows FC Dayton's analysts to upload the film captured from Veo, and clip, edit and share feedback instantly and seamlessly with the players on a team.

The analysts can share playlists specific to teams or individual players that show best practices, areas of challenge or highlights that the players can then, in turn, share with prospective college coaches.

HUDL is not a gimmick.

Video feedback of games is the single best way for players to learn about themselves and improve.

Speed, Agility & Quickness (SAQ)

All of FC Dayton's ECNL & WPSL Players are required to participate in our Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ) Program and the cost of the this Program ($400) is included in the ECNL fees.

As an additional priority of the SAQ program, special emphasis will be placed on the prevention of knee injuries in female soccer players such as ACL injuries.
